In 2008, We're Looking For A Few Good Drivers
Kevin Yeatts begin racing Legends in 1999, maintaining his cars in a garage at his parent's home in Richmond, Va. After 3 years, we outgrew the shop and moved the cars and racing operation to our home in Powhatan, Va. Along the way, Kevin picked up a dozen wins, 2 state titles, a track title, and 2 top-10 national point finishes. Things kept getting better, and we were forced to move again.
In
2004, we began housing cars in our new shop and doing weekly setup maintenance
and in-house driver training. Since that time, YR drivers have won 5
National Titles, dozens of state and track titles, and hundreds of
races. Additionally, we've put drivers in the A-Mains at National events
and in the invitation-only season-ending PRI show in Florida every year since
it's inception in 2005. No other Virginia setup shop can make that
claim.
In 2008, we're looking for 1 or 2 young drivers to work with and help learn that elusive racing trick known as "winning" and we have some space at the shop to work a new driver or two in. We've helped people in the past like Joe Gibbs driver, Marc Davis, 2005 National Champion Patrick Molesworth, 2006 National Champion Addison Rogers, and many other youngsters find their way to victory lane.
As always, we are about more than just Legends. At Yeatts Racing, we stress becoming a complete race team, with a web presence. We also train young drivers to come to the front and to handle themselves in and out of the car. In the past 2 years, our drivers have won 3 national point titles. Additionally, our customers won over 100 features last year alone!
